Lighter - PDI/Dreamworks
3D feature animation CGI lighting on Shrek 2 and Madagascar. Additional work included integration lighting and compositing of Donkey and Shrek into several HP commercials, several Honey Nut Cherrios full CG commercials for overseas markets, helping with development of training materials, teaching advanced lighting classes, and mentoring of new hires, including CG supervisors on various projects.

June 2000 - July 2003:
Training Specialist - PDI/Dreamworks
Train new hires and current employees on PDI/Dreamworks proprietary software, including the lighting tool. Taught special classes on the aesthetics of lighting at PDI/Dreamworks, and classes on proprietary 3D painting and lighting tools at the Dreamworks facility in Glendale. Responsible for curriculum development for all departments at PDI/Dreamworks and collaborating on curriculum development for Dreamworks at Glendale training on PDI proprietary software. Act as Job TD and mentor for new hires. Manage the Training Department production tree.

October 1997 - June 2000:
Assistant Technical Lighter - Pacific Data Images
3D feature animation CGI lighting on Antz and Shrek. Additional work included 2D effects for the feature film Forces of Nature, collaborating with R&D on the testing of new shaders, helping with development of training materials, and mentoring of new hires.

Autumn 1995 - Autumn 1996:

Assisted in curriculum development of courses implementing computer use in the studio arts. Rated 3D modeling and animation software for the Macintosh. Developed and taught an experimental class in digital image processing and web based art work including training in HTML. Taught faculty workshops on digital video, image processing, and 3D computer animation and modeling.

Solo instructorn for Special Projects Lab, an alternative media course, which included the following areas of research at different times: performance, installation, video art and computer based art. Assisted in teaching: Figure Drawing, Figure Painting, Holography.
